PlayChess.site operates this website and is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Privacy questions may be sent to druvasookraj@gmail.com.
Information we collect
We may process your email address and account details, saved chess games and moves, multiplayer invitations, premium membership interest, fair-play reports, security records, device or browser information, and aggregated website analytics. We do not currently collect payment-card information on this site.
How we use information
Information is used to create and secure accounts, operate games, restore saved positions, connect players, investigate abuse or cheating, improve the chess experience, measure site performance, and respond to support requests.
Cookies, local storage and analytics
The site may use essential browser storage to keep you signed in, remember an unfinished game and protect account sessions. Google Analytics may collect usage information under Google's own privacy terms. Where required, optional analytics should only run after consent.
Sharing and service providers
Information may be processed by hosting, authentication, security and analytics providers acting to support the site. We do not sell lists of users or their personal information.
Sale or transfer of the website
The domain, brand, website content and technical assets may be sold or transferred to a new owner. Registered-user accounts, identifiable saved games and other identifiable personal information are not included in such a sale unless affected users are notified in advance and the transfer is permitted by applicable law. A sale may instead be completed using a clean website installation with no user database.

Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used, but no online system is completely risk-free.
